wheres the warming of the globe?

it seems that al gore is full of shit. the past 2 weeks there has been hardly any outside riding due to the sheer cold. with the temperatures staying in negative teens with windchill its brutal on the bike. today was a snowday for what reason im not sure. there was hardly any snow. Perhaps the reason is that yesterday as i went to school it was 40 and when i went to bed it was near 0. As of now it is -33 with windchill looks like another day inside riding. a little warming of the globe would be nice right now!!!

Good points

Looking at the forecast there maybe a good chance of getting some extra points in the satelite winter challenge series. With a high of 7 degrees this weekend looks like a ruff time riding outside.

Last weekend stumpy and i rode for a good while. Stumpy went down as he decieded to stand up for a sprint (so he claimes) with a fresh 4inches of snow and slide out. This falling down contiuned due to the fact we couldnt stop laughing and story telling. It was great actually riding with someone. This was the first time i have ridden with someone this off season.

1st of the year

Today was the first day i have ridden in about two weeks. It felt good to get back on the ol bike. Another first of the year was riding the bike path. T'his has been plowed by the city and surprisingly it was nice and wide even though there was no one else out, perhaps it was due to the cold. The temperature wasn't too bad with a balmy 16 but when the wind kicked up off the lake it was beautiful -6. here is what i ran into though on my way home.

cross training

i have found a new type of training this off season. You are able to do this training all indoors too. its called a Wii training. Its a new type of training that is gonna be huge soon. I hear all the big teams are getting into this training.

I purchased a wii last night and havent been able to stop playing. after coming home from the MQT ball drop i stayed up and played wii to the wee early morning. good stuff.
